Bianca grew up on the Gold Coast, Australia, but her love for Japan began at the age of 14 when she participated in a language exchange and lived with a host family in Yokosuka, Kanagawa.
After studying Tourism Management, Bianca joined H.I.S., one of Japan’s largest travel agencies, where she spent 10 years helping Australians discover Japan. In 2023, she joined Journey to the East, where she now specialises in creating unforgettable journeys throughout Japan. Drawing on her firsthand knowledge of the country, Bianca enjoys helping guests experience both the iconic highlights and the hidden gems that make Japan so special.
Bianca’s goal is to visit every prefecture in Japan, with only a handful left to complete. Some of her favourite destinations include Fukui, Beppu and Okinawa. She has also been fortunate enough to attend major events in Japan, including the Rugby World Cup and Formula 1.
Outside of work, Bianca is busy raising her two young sons and hopes to inspire them with the same love of travel that first sparked her own passion for Japan. As a family, they enjoy making the most of every opportunity to explore new places together.
